Past Productions:

October 2009 Seniors Production- photographs and gifts available here

Frankenstein directed by John Haswell and Oliver Bisset, performed in Jedburgh Town Hall over the 17th and 18th October was a fantastic show. The BYT young people performed confidently and portrayed difficult emotional situations with skill and talent.

A huge thank you to all the young people, the staff, the volunteers and the brilliant audiences in Jedburgh on both evenings.

Summer 2009 Production

Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Nights Dream" played in Melrose 5th-7th August and was a roaring success. The BYT seniors were amazing and members of the audience have said it was the best "Dream" that they've seen. Well done to everyone involved, young people, staff and all of the many volunteers who freely gave of their time.

Fantastic show by Duns Junior BYTer's   "The Witches" by Roald Dahl was performed on the 18th and 19th June to packed houses at Gavinton Village Hall. The actors were really confident in their first stage show as a group and very entertaining! Well done everyone.

Easter 2009 Junior Production- Ernie's Incredible Illucinations by Alan Ayckbourn

Our junior cast enjoyed a brilliant week. The children put on a show to be proud of with a huge array of personal achievements throughout the week. The play is very funny and went down extremely well with the children who certainly enjoyed learning a scripted piece. They worked tirelessly and it was wonderful to experience their excitement, achievements and sense of pride.
The performances were entertaining, colourful and went without a hitch. There was a great deal of team spirit and the atmosphere all week was upbeat, positive and infectious. It was wonderful to experience a vibrant combination of children, senior BYTers, adult volunteers and a very professional crew. We all had the time of our lives and now have some fantastic memories to treasure. Well done BYT juniors ... we are incredibly proud of you.

Senior Drama skills Easter Week 2009
